Create an account

Before you can publish a station, create an operator account on the goodcharge operator portal and turn on two-factor authentication. Two-factor authentication is required, not optional.

An operator account is where your stations, their API keys, and your subscriptions live. Everything covered in this Getting started section — adding a station, its API key, publishing its data — happens under this account.

Once your account exists and 2FA is on, move on to Add a station.
